[Work in progress]
In the far north of Scotland, where the icy waters of the Atlantic Ocean and the North Sea collide with jagged cliffs, lies the island of Unst, in the Shetland archipelago.
A harsh and austere land, swept by bitter winds, which seems to defy all forms of life. At the heart of this desolation emerges a mystical beauty.
“Contours of Tranquility” is a visual meditation on isolation and the magic that arises when man and nature meet in shared tranquility.
Through these photographs, I invite you to dive into this world where time seems suspended, where the contours of rocks worn by storms blend into an infinite horizon. The hues evoke the softness of the lights that envelope the island, while the solitary silhouettes of the houses tell stories of past lives and forgotten dreams.
